Re: Cambridge Audio Minx
On a completely different subject I purchased two of Cambridge Audio's Min 20 satellites a few weeks back. Very impressed. I would not normally have considered something like this but the technology looked interesting and in terms of the mid range in particular it does seem to work - no crossover has resulted in a very non-passive sound. Female vocals are quite amazing. I believe (and I know it's a swear word around here) Naim are using similar drivers in one of their new high end speakers .

Thanks for drawing my attention to these euron. They do look interesting. I followed the links and read some of the reviews. My concerns about one of the full systems would be the low power handling of the small satellites (75W) and the relatively high crossover point to the sub (the satellites are -6dB at 130Hz), which might give more directionality to the sub than would be ideal.
All the same, the whole system has a strong domestic appeal for people like mrs. mdh who like technology and its benefits, but don't necessarily want to make a feature of it.
What sort of application do you use them for, and what do you drive them with. How about a more detailed review (please!)
