However I was looking on youtube and there are a number of clips how to remove a broken spindle from RCA connector. Basically you heat a metal rod paperclip, nail  or thin screwdriver etc and insert it into the socket. Leave it to cool and gently remove rod.

It is because the thread was in the Reference Section. That is normally used for more permanent reference threads. I had set it up for senior members to use.

I presume the heating method depends on there being solder in the phono pin. You could use a soldering iron to heat the inserted rod.
And life flows on within you and without you
