Meridian remastered some Mozart on one HFN CD and I had the original and had to dig it out to see if it was as bad. I don't know what went wrong, but it was very distorted.
Some days it just isn’t worth the hassle of chewing through the restraints......

It was the vinyl one I remember and then there was the Shure LP that only my V15 111 could track of course!

It was a CD they'd digitally mastered. We had a good laugh because they were the "Digital Experts" and Martin is a far more able. Stress engineer than Bob Stuart. He designed a CD from scratch and wrote all the software to control it when they were just using the Philips kit.
