I've been playing Diablo 2 this week. Loads of people on the internet have been raging because of the online DRM but I haven't had any problems and DRM aside it's a fantastic game. :D
I refuse to buy any more games with online DRM, unless they are games I only play online. Our internet went down for a week last year and there were games I couldn't play single player even, not to mention the shocking Sony outage too (even if I did get 6 free games later).

I can understand the need to prevent piracy, but it doesn't work anyway. I can quite easily download cracked versions into something like Sandboxie anyway. In fact the next game they make online DRM that I want, I may do just that.
Online DRM only causes problems for people who actually buy the games and doesn't stop piracy.

Diablo is such a good game though and I didn't want to miss out just because I hate their DRM in principal. Their servers are totally reliable now too but there was loads of problems with them when the game was first released.

If you liked Mass Effect 1 then you're in for a treat with Mass Effect 2 because that one's even better.
I just completed Deus Ex Human Revolution. Stunning game even if older. Very involved storyline, fantastic gameplay (except for the outsourced boss fights), and great graphics. I paid the princely sum of €4,95 for this game, and have about 40 hours of gameplay out of it. Tomorrow, I will move on to the Mass Effect trilogy :)
This is like true confessions.....

I'll play a game every free minute I have when I first get it, then I won't go near a game again until a really good one is released.

I have to say I thought FarCry 3 was excellent and the soundtrack was professionally done. Dishonored satisfied my enjoyment of all things Steampunk and Ankh-Morpork (despite the execrable Yank spelling of its title!)
I am also looking forward to Bioshock Infinite.

Other than that, I'm normal.......

I've just completed Halo 4 a few days ago, magic. Now onto Deus Ex: Human Revolution, it's just amazing. Then the Mass Effect trilogy after I finish Deus Ex
You are clearly a real fan, and Steve. But would either of you do what my friend does? Set an alarm to take a pretend plane out of auto to 'land' it.
Not now that I have kids. In the past, playing some mmorpg, if there was some planned group attack or something, I would go online in the middle of the night to join in...

EDIT: I should clarify that I don't consider it normal behaviour :)

No, that's just nuts.

I've played a few flight simulators and they can be quite good fun when you're actually doing things in them. But to just take off and put it into autopilot for a few hours sounds ridiculously boring.
